galileo

galileo is my workstation. It currently has an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+, 2GB of dual-channel Corsair Dominator DDR2-800 RAM, 2.6TB of storage, and an nVidia GeForce 8600GTS PCI Express. All this is inside a CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 case. I am using two Acer 19" x193w displays with it. It is also running Debian GNU/Linux unstable.

europa

europa is my media box / backup machine. It currently has a dual-core AMD Opteron 165, 2GB of dual-channel DDR-400 RAM, 2.4TB of storage, and an nVidia GeForce 7200GTS PCI Express. This machine uses a 1024x768 DLP projector as its primary display. This machine also does NAT for wireless and various machines that don't have outside static IPs. It is also running Debian GNU/Linux unstable.

xanadu

xanadu is my server running back at my parents' home in the shed, which is hosting this web server. Although this machine has been running for over seven years now, it has been completely upgraded and reinstalled over the years. Currently it sports an AMD Athlon64x2 5200+, 2GB DDR2-800 RAM, and about 500GB of storage. It is running Debian GNU/Linux testing.

oort

oort is my new IBM ThinkPad T43. It has a 1.86GHz Pentium M, 512MB RAM, and 40GB of storage. This mean little laptop packs quite a punch with its 1400x1050 LCD display, Serial ATA, and PCI Express. I will someday post my experiences with installing and running Debian on it.

thinktank

thinktank is one of my older machines; it is a PowerMac 6500/250 with 64MB of RAM and about 3GB of storage. I have it dual-booting MacOS 7.6.1 and Debian GNU/Linux unstable. This was the first workstation that I ran Linux on. It's usually off since it doesn't have much purpose left. I sometimes use it as a 'Mactendo' to play old Mac games.

phloam

phloam is a Sun SPARCstation 10. It has a 40MHz chip inside, 64MB of RAM, and about 2GB of storage. It's running Debian GNU/Linux unstable and doesn't really do anything, so I usually just keep it off. It's mainly for testing purposes.
